PUT. ME. IN. THE. WATER
That’s all I really want… Just get me close enough to see the water, and my feet will be wet in no time. I’m not that clumsy, but I swear theres a magnetic connection between me and the bottom of the river that I cannot (and do not want to) overcome. My favorite memories have creeks, rivers, lakes, inlets, and oceans in the background, and so do my future plans.
Living in East Tennessee with an assortment of water systems in my “back yard,” I have the privilege to enjoy world class fishing in multiple bodies of water and target many different fish species year-round. With an airport nearby and inexpensive flights to places with bonefish, tarpon, permit, and crystal-clear Scuba diving; as well as great saltwater fisheries within a half-day drive of my home, I have more options than I have time to fish.
I prefer fly fishing, but I’m most concerned with having fun catching fish, so I use all methods of fishing and ethical equipment available to me (I quit dynamite in 2003 after a toilet was tragically destroyed in a vacation home in Myrtle Beach, SC). Not only do I enjoy every opportunity to catch a fish, but I like helping others get their fishing fix as well, and that’s really the purpose of putmeinthewater.com. I’ll share all the information I know about fishing to help you become a more successful angler. Feel free to ask questions through the email links on the website, through instagram, and check out my YouTube videos. If you have helpful information you want to pass along, I’d love the advice as well. I don’t claim to know it all, just enough to have a whole lot of fun!
